“Let's Go Crazy!” tells a story of defiance and decadence, expressing the pent-up desires that we all have to go out and enjoy ourselves after being restrained for so long. It gives licence to break the artificial rules people impose upon themselves, let loose and have a good time. The song expresses a beautiful fantasy of rebellion. The line "Searching for a feeling" shows the feeling of excitement and enjoyment we all crave so much and are eager to re-discover.

The song evokes a feeling of classic pop-rock bands like The Wanted and All Time Low, combined with Michael's Gospel and R&B inspired vocals, resulting in a unique combination of soul and passion. It is a product of collaboration between Canadian artist Michael Perry and British songwriter and guitarist Max Ovenden and was written and recorded completely over the internet using a mixture of zoom and file sharing sites, despite having not yet met in person.
